Judge Dredd: Comic Book Sketch Cover

A while back I thought I would do some traditional artwork by trying out working on comic book sketch covers.

This is of Judge Death on a Judge Dredd Comic Book Sketch Cover.

It had been years since I drew anything traditionally, and to be honest it felt like drawing with my left hand. My brain kept trying to zoom in to do more detailed work, but alas there is no zoom tool in real life. Not unless I got out a magnifying glass!

This is also the first time I tried out copic markers. Back in the day I used to work with Pantone Tria markers. I would say they are pretty comparable, though I miss that ultra fine tip that Tria has.
